Delete your data

Your data is yours. Here is exactly how to remove it — no account, no request form needed.

Delete one card

• Open the card, tap Edit, then Delete card. It's gone from this device immediately.

Delete everything on this device

The free tier stores all of your data in this browser — nothing is on our servers. To erase all of it:

• In the app: delete each card (above), or
• Clear site data: in your browser settings, clear site data / storage for CardKeep (or the whole site), which removes all cards and settings, or
• Uninstall the installed app from your device.

Tip: export a backup first (Settings → Export) if you might want your cards later — deletion can't be undone.

Delete your data erased by a backup file

If you shared or stored a CardKeep export (JSON) file, delete that file too — it contains your cards.

Pro cloud accounts (when active)

Pro cross-device sync is not active in this release. When it is, you'll be able to delete your account and all synced data from within the app, and you can also request deletion at any time by emailing admin@ahlchemy.org — we will delete your synced data and confirm.
