How to use CardKeep
Add a card
- Tap + Add.
- Scan with camera to read the barcode automatically (works in Chrome, Edge, and on Android), or type the number by hand.
- CardKeep guesses the barcode type; change it with the Barcode type picker if the preview looks wrong.
- Give it a name and a color, then Save.
Show it at checkout
- Tap any card to open checkout mode — a full-screen, high-contrast barcode on a black background.
- The screen is held awake and bright so the scanner reads it even under bad store lighting.
- It works with no signal — everything is stored on your device.
Search & organize
- Use the search box to find a card by name, number, category, or tag.
- Give each card a category (Grocery, Pharmacy, Gym, Library…) — your wallet groups cards by category automatically.
- Add freeform tags for finer grouping; tap a tag or category chip above your cards to filter.
- Turn on Large view in Settings for bigger cards and text.
See your wallet report
- Settings → Reports shows totals, a breakdown by category and barcode type, and any cards you haven't used in 90+ days.
Back up & move your cards
- Settings → Export saves every card to an open JSON file.
- Settings → Import loads them back — on this device or another. Your data is yours.
Supported barcode types
